What About Dan...

Dan Kirk was born on a cold day in December of 1966 to a warm mother and father.

Although hard to believe when you see him today, Dan was terrified of being in the spot light. Reading a two sentance prayer in front of his family at Christmas would frighten Dan so much he could barely get through it.

Dan learned to juggle golf balls in the basement of the neighbors house when he was 16 years old. He went home and began learning many tricks with tennis balls. This activity kept Dan out of trouble.

Since Dan wasn't a performer yet, he needed the college experience. He studied chemistry and math. Nothing funny to say about that. Although terrifying, Dan had to take a speech class in college. Much to his surprise he received A+s on his speeches. One comment he received by a teacher was, "You'd make a great public speaker!" With that in mind, he went on to get a degree in graphic arts.

God's plan for Dan didn't involve being alone in a chem lab doing experiments or working as a graphic artist like Dan originally thought. His plan involved being in front of a lot of people creating laughter, sharing life experiences, educating, and living OUT LOUD!

Dan currently lives in small town, WI with his wife. They have three children, one dog, one turtle, two rats, and two birds. Unfortunately the children will be gone before all the animals.

* Dan holds a 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

* Dan took piano lessons for 8 years and he still can't play.

* Dan sometimes paints for money.

* Dan's two favorite foods in no particular order are Twinkies and

  Hostess Cup Cakes.

* Dan is big into fishing.

* Dan makes and sells fishing rod racks.

* Dan secretly loves to dance.
